What’s Happening

The top finishing tractor can be protested by the top 5 finishers in the class only. The protestor will put up $50.00 cash to protest the top placing tractor. At that time the top tractor will have the option to also put up $50.00 to have the protestors tractor checked as well but does not have to. The top tractor can decline the protest and will loose 30 points and everybody walks away no questions asked. If he accepts his tractor will be checked by me (Zach Kerber) and 1 other non class participant for rule compliance. The tech procedure is available to any and all pullers if you would like a copy. If the tractor is found to be legal the top finishing tractor will receive the $50.00 and the protest is over. If the tractor is found to be illegal the $50.00 will go back to the protestor and the illegal tractor will loose 30 points.

We are not going to do random engine teardowns. This protest system is in place and leaves the fairness of pulling to the pullers. If you don’t want to cause a rif by protesting a tractor then don’t complain if you are getting beat. If you are complaining and not protesting you are still causing a rif!!

However with that being said we will have the right to do random checks of the following and not limited to fuel, RPM, carb check through out the point’s series to keep it fair.
